Dr. Elvebakk is a Scandinavian born innovator in nutrition. She earned her medical degree at the University of Oslo, Norway and is certified by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine. She is a long standing member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
Before entering bariatric medicine, she did an internship in internal medicine at University of California, Davis, served as an associate physician for Sacramento County Health Department and as lead physician for Sacramento Occupational Group.
