She earned her medical degree at the University of Oslo, Norway and is certified by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine, and is a long standing member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. She has dedicated her medical career to debunking diet and weight myths, showing how balanced nutrition makes the body naturally gravitate towards normal weight and good health. She specializes in reversing diabetes and other metabolic illness. She in in private practice with offices in San Francisco and Oakland.
